About the Artist

I was born in Arequipa, Peru and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. I graduated from Skidmore College, in Saratoga Springs, NY, with a degree in studio art, and have studied in the SACI program in Florence, Italy. I am currently based in Portland, Oregon.

An unapologetic observer of my fellow humans, my favorite subjects are the human face and figure, as well as people at work, play and rest. While I have worked in ink, pencil, charcoal, and oil and acrylic paint, most recently I have enjoyed experimenting with digital tools. I am currently working on commission, most often in digital format.
